• Novixid Herbicide is a postemergence herbicide for selective control of susceptible grass, sedge, and broadleaf weeds in rice.
• It may be used on all rice varieties and hybrids, including herbicide tolerant varieties.

Novixid Herbicide Composition and Technical Details

• Technical Content: Rinskor active florpyrauxifen-benzyl and penoxsulam.
• Mode of Entry: Systemic
• Mode of Action: Novixid works through two primary mechanisms. First, it contains Rinskor active (florpyrauxifen-benzyl), a synthetic auxin herbicide that mimics natural plant hormones, causing uncontrolled growth in susceptible plants, leading to their death. Second, it includes penoxsulam, an ALS inhibitor that disrupts the synthesis of essential amino acids by inhibiting the ALS enzyme, which is crucial for protein synthesis and cell growth.

Novixid Herbicide Usage & Crops

• Recommended Crop: Rice
• Targeted Weeds: Alligator weed, Arrowhead, Barnyard Grass, Duck salad, Eclipta, Flat sedge, Jointvetch, Lambsquarters, Common (Chenopodium album), Nutsedge, Yellow (Cyperus esculentus), Pimpernel, Sesbania, Hemp (Sesbania exaltata), Signal grass, Broadleaf (Brachiaria platyphylla).
• Dosage: 767ml/ Acre.
• Method of Application: Foliar Spray on weeds.
• Time of Application: Early-post emergent, 2-4 leaf to early tillering rice.

Additional Information

• Do not allow tank mixes of Novixid to sit overnight. See additional tank mix restrictions below.
• Do not mix Novixid Herbicide with products that contain propanil.
• Do not use organosilicon surfactants in spray mixtures of this product.
