- Mode of Action:Ā Moximate due to various actions on spores, viz ā Inhibits spore germination, reduces spore viability and inhibits spores' production, controls spread of disease. Cymoxanil has locally systemic activity inhibiting sporulation in fungi. Mancozeb is a contact fungicide that works by preventing the growth of fungi on the surface of the plant.
