  • KABUTO is an herbicide developed by IFFCO-MC Crop Science Private Limited, primarily used for effective weed control.
  • It is a unique contact, non selective and broad-spectrum herbicide for both grasses and broad-leaved weeds.

  • Technical Name: Paraquat Dichloride 24% SL
  • Mode of Entry: Contact
  • Mode of Action: Kabuto from the bipyridyl group, effectively controls a wide range of annual grasses, broad-leaved weeds, and established perennial weeds. It disrupts photosynthesis and ruptures the cell membranes of weeds, leading to rapid desiccation and death. KABUTO is used in both agricultural and non-cropped areas for comprehensive weed management.

  • Always use Flood Jet or Flat Fan nozzle for herbicide spray
  • Kabuto Herbicide successfully controls established perennial weeds.
  • It acts very fast whenever it is in contact with the foliage and other plant parts and gets inactive upon contact with soil.
  • Kabuto Herbicide is a strong contact herbicide hence coverage is important, and the weed foliage should not have sand or dust deposit it is better to apply after rains.
