MODE OF ACTION

• Tolfenpyrad works by inhibiting complex I of the mitochondrial electron transport chain in pest cells. This disruption halts the production of ATP, which is essential for cellular energy. Without ATP, the pests cannot sustain vital functions such as movement and respiration, ultimately leading to their death. This targets both larvae and adult stages of the pest.
